Guess who got yesterday and today off from work and school?  Well, pretty much everyone around here.  But that includes me!  Whee!

The snow was really impressive yesterday, I have to say.  Back here by Evergreen, the trees were looking awfully pretty.  Plus, Meridan and I got to go out yesterday and the stores were nearly empty.  :)

Our goal yesterday was to get some wedding registries set up.  His dad kinda informed/told us to do so, so even though it makes me feel a bit greedy and grumpy, we went for it.  Registering at Target was rather fun, and I didn't mind it.  Bed, Bath & Beyond, however... they have a wonderful way of telling you that you're doing it wrong.  I nearly cracked when I put a dishware set costing $99.99 on the registry, only to be told that it counted in the 'Casual Dining' category.  Apparently, hundred dollar dishes are just everyday crap, don't you know?

Man, I've clearly got some cheap-ass tastes.  I don't forsee living off of two teaching incomes being an issue for us.  :)

I wish Ikea had a wedding registry.  Meridan's dad says we have to find regional chain stores, but beyond Target, I have no idea where to look.  I feel like places like Pottery Barn and stuff are way too expensive.  Amazon.com it is, I think.

Hmm.  Dinner is a good idea.  Yes.
