My boss came up to me this morning and asked which days I plan on taking off for the holidays. Taking extra days off never occured to me, because I am dumb. I felt too guilty to take the 18th - 25th off, so I asked for the 20th-25th. What the hell difference two days makes, I don't know. Again... I'm dumb. Campus is closed on the 22nd already, so that's only two extra days off. But any time off rocks, in my opinion.
I had an odd week last week. Nothing big happened, all I did was spend time cleaning out my closet, but that was an odd experience in itself. There were so many old things in there, bits of crap that I can't believe I saved. I've never been big on needing tangible reminders of things. (Although I do collect hotel room card keys. I don't know why.) So, it surprised me to see how much I really had accumulated over the past 5 years. Weird. I really need to get rid of some of those magazines I've been keeping as well. It's getting out of hand.
I did also finish my paper last week. I'm pretty proud of it. Ten pages was easy, and the books I used as references were perfect.
Well, I was going to stick around campus today until my mother got finished with work, but I'm too damn tired. Think I'll head home.
