Well, school's going a lot better now. I got all caught up in my English class, I've got an A still in my algebra class, and my psych professor agreed to let me turn in some missing work for partial credit, so I should have at least a B there too by the end. I don't know how the English class will go - she's a tough grader. But I think I'm looking at at least an A and two Bs. Good enough for me. :)

I have a lot of work to do through Monday, though.

Got registered for next quarter - I'm taking Intro to Education, Earth in Time & Space, and Intro to Public Speaking. No online classes this time - isn't it weird? I decided I had too much trouble keeping track of deadlines with this quarter's classes, so I wanted to do some face-to-face stuff. Plus, these are all classes that aren't offered online at all. And I wanted to go all online in the summer, since I think I won't be working much over the summer and if I go online, I can have an open schedule for a different part time job.

My boss told me this week that if I want to come back next year, he'd love to have me. It's really nice having a guaranteed job for another year. The job gets to me sometimes, and it's tough, but Meridan really appreciates the extra money, and working there means I get my beautiful new apartment, so I'm happy. :)

Still nervous about getting my financial aid back, but I've done everything I can in that respect - it's out of my hands. I go back and talk to them at the end of March, when grades post. If I get all 15 of my credits this quarter, which I will, I'll have above a 75% completion ratio, which means there technically should be no barriers left between me and the aid. What I'm really concerned about is available funds. There are a lot of people attending college this year, and I just hope there's still some money left.

Anyways. We just finished up with all the Angels in America work for English class - now we're on to V for Vendetta. I was telling Meridan that some people in my class are actually complaining about having to read a 'comic' for an English class. My response to them is, it's not fucking Peanuts up in here. This isn't Charlie Brown missing the football. This is Alan Moore. It's heavy shit. I think they've all realized that now, and they're shutting up.

Wish Aleph was here, though. I have to write two essays regarding the novel, and he'd be the best proofreader EVER for this. Maybe I'll e-mail them to him anyways. :) Or post them here.

Guess I should get back to my bleak post-apocalyptic nightmare comic now. Good times.
