buying in bulk is next to godliness.
Mar. 10th, 2007 12:10 amWell, I bought all the food for the convention today. At the very least, people will be fed. I had to spend all but $10.00 of our garage sale money, but I picked up quite a bit of stuff. Plus, since I'm selling it to people, we'll make the money back easily. I have very few qualms about selling people a bag of chips for 50 cents when it only cost me 10. I'm a bitch that way.
I'll put the 10 bucks, plus probably some of my own cash, towards pizza or something for the volunteers this week. They've been lovely so far.
The iron-on shirt thing is going to work just fine. I found the transfer stuff in the bookstore, actually, which will make my life a lot easier, and I'm going to find a place this weekend to buy the shirts wholesale from. Good times.
I realized last night that if I'm going to make it through the next week, I have to stop trying to work on things after midnight. I need to let 12:00 just be my quitting time so that I can spend an hour or two sewing or crocheting and watching TV to wind down. Otherwise, I will be crying far more than I am now and I will end up killing some small animals. Nobody needs that level of crazy out of me.
I checked out a pattern book from the library that's mostly crap, but has a zippered hoodie pattern that I needed desperately. I'm excited.
Tonight, I'm taking my star blanket work-in-progress and my package of Oreos and I'm going to watch more Cadfael, cause I can sleep in tomorrow. I <3 monks.
