here comes the something or other

It's been a busy couple of weeks.  Not much to report on, but that never stopped me from babbling before.

I have a wedding budget in the form of a credit card that I am allowed to max.  This will probably happen relatively quickly, and then I'm going to be SOL.  I have agreed to these terms, however, and I will do my very best to stay under budget.  It's not a large credit card (think under $1000), but I can make do.

I have reserved the Rose Garden at Priest Point for September 4th.  It's the Friday before Labor Day Weekend.  I know most weddings are on Saturdays, but this will have to do, since Meridan and I have decided the nerdiest possible thing we could do for a honeymoon is go to Kumoricon.  After all, we did meet at an anime club... it seems nerdily appropriate.

My invitations are purchased and ready to be printed, I have found most of an outfit for myself on Etsy (bodice and skirt renfaire wench style, ho yeah, and a fucking gorgeous hairband/floral wreath thing), the rings have been ordered from Ebay from the same seller whom we bought my engagement ring from, and as soon as I get back down to Earth Magick, I should have an officiant confirmed.

Everything else, I'm doing myself.  How, you might ask?

With a little help from my girl Martha, of course.  Ms. Stewart if you wanna get nasty.
