Am I the best daughter ever because, providing I get tickets tomorrow morning, I'm taking my mother to the U2 concert at the Key Arena in April?

I like to think so. Because, while it will be boss to see U2, I'm shelling out over $100 for this. But it's something she really, really, insanely wants, so there you go. We'll be sitting in a miserable section most likely, but it's not like it's the Gorge. Key Arena isn't that huge.

Boy, am I going to be strapped for cash this week. If I'd known about this, I would have taken it a little easier with the going out to lunch and whatnot. Damn.

Meh. When you get paid every week, you never have to be poor for too long.

I hope I get those tickets.

Edit: Who expected the motherfuckers to sell out in ten minutes? Damnit. We'll probably go up and wait at Will Call the night of the concert. Brargh.

I. Want. Manga. Now.

But I have to wait until Friday. rAwr.

Oh, but on Friday, I will explode. I will purchase oh-so-much manga. What manga, you might ask? Gravitation vol. 10, Fruits Basket vol. 7, Legal Drug vol. 2, and Bleach vol. 5 most likely. Even if Yami no Matsuei vol. 2 is there, however, I cannot buy it, for I promised the local comic book store guy I would let him order it for me. Ah, my willpower will be tested. Damn.

Maybe I should go put a real shirt on, or something. Pshaw.

I finally bought The Last Unicorn for myself. Did I mention that already? Well, I did. I love it so very much. There are Disney movies that take all of us back, but there are also movies like The Last Unicorn and An American Tail that really feel like parts of my childhood. I always liked the, I don't know, less perky movies when I was a child. The Dark Crystal, The Secret of Nimh, ones like that.

I bought a paperback the other day that had a female vampire and her elven boyfriend running around killing zombies, and I accidentally liked it. I always thought there were some aspects of fangirldom that I would never end up reaching, but apparently I've begun to like hot Vampire/Elf lovin'. It's a dark, black void, and I'm being sucked in. Eep.
