May. 12th, 2006 12:04 amI may very possibly have the Asian bird flu. I have also had a very craptastic day in which I talked about money or my lack thereof FAR, FAR too much for my own tastes. It never pays to try and get me to talk about my finances when I'm sick. I start to worry loudly, and then no one wins.
By the time I felt okay enough to get up and do things, it was evening already. So, I had no choice but to spend extra time on the int0rwebz playing rather than get anything actual done. That's not all that bad, really - I kinda needed a little playtime. Of course, now I have to share the odd things I found online with you all. Lucky bitches.
This is an odd bit of news. While I don't personally feel that E3 is a cosplay event, I don't consider that particular women to be as naked as she was made out to be in the hype. It's a relatively accurate Wonder Woman costume. Also, I'm pretty sure I saw a group of 6th graders in Target the other day wearing outfits that were more revealing than hers.
E3 isn't a comic convention. This much is true. But it was a cute costume. I don't know. I'm torn. I suppose it's just that I'm trained to appreciate a nice costume when I see one, even when it's being worn somewhere that might be considered inappropriate.
A more useful bit of news - the price points for the PS3 have been revealed, as I'm sure everyone's heard. I think it's hilarious that the prices are just as bad as the rumor mill has been proclaiming. Poor Girl Matt. Too bad that's his "assigned" piece of gaming hardware for the apartment. I'm glad I claimed the Nintendo Revolution. (not the Wii. It's not the Wii. That never happened. It's all a bad dream. Mommy will wake me soon.) It'll be worth it just to get the new Super Smash Bros. with Solid Snake - complete with cardboard box.
Ooof, my headache's back. I'd better go back to sleep.
