Hah HAH! I have not only decided on my cosplay for Sakuracon, I have forced everyone else into cosplaying from FFIII with me. Even better - I actually get to knit part of my costume. Hurrah!
In even geekier news, I'm knitting up dice bag samples tonight to take over to Gabi's. I found this awesome dark blue shiny cotton in my stash that some online swap partner sent to me and I never used, cause, well, I hate cotton. However, I'm working with it now, and it looks great.
I'm trying to make more of a dish-like bag for this current project. From what I've noticed, it seems like it would be nicest to sort of undo a drawstring and lay out a bag so that it made more of a dish-like shape, showing everything inside without letting anything fall out. It's hard to explain. I dunno. I think it'll work better, though.
I've also got a couple crochet patterns for bags, and the one I made for Shen was crocheted, and turned out really cute. Both methods have their merits. I do crochet much, MUCH faster than I can knit. Which is saying something, after all.
Y'know, I don't even game. I just like the idea of making little bags. They're like mini-purses, and you all should recognize by now my rampant love of purses. It was sorta inevitable.
God DAMNIT, I found my stupid wallet. It was in my shopping bag from Target. Now I feel bad about Aleph paying for my food. Bah. What a wallet-loss-filled day it's been. Jiminy Cricket.
Not really sure if I have enough money to get my hair cut with this paycheck, though I reallyreally want to. I'll try and see if I can do it. Next payday is exactly two weeks away, so I'm not sure.
And so on and so forth.
