twitter post of the day
Jun. 11th, 2008 10:07 pm- 10:40 god ding damnit, mom's going to boston. 2 more weeks of forced babysitting. i'm going to die. #
Yeesh, that was an awful cold. Well, it's not technically done yet, because even though I feel relatively fine, I can't stop coughing. This means that, after checking Ari's grades tonight and discovering that he has an F in English AGAIN, the resulting shouting match has made my chest feel less than okay.
Apparently, I have managed to give this cold to both Shen and my dad. However, since Ari gave it to me, I feel he should be ultimately blamed. Yes.
I have a pound of ground turkey staring at me, deciding what it wants to be cooked with. I'm kinda feeling the spaghetti vibe, since I haven't had it in quite a while. I loves my spaghetti.
Know what else I love? My teeny tiny uber cutie mp3 player. I love it SO MUCH. I also love how I can have two audiobooks on it - one I'm currently listening to, and one for backup in case I finish the first early - and still have a buttload of room for music if I feel like it. I wasn't even expecting that. The sound quality is impressively good, too.
Here is something, however, that I do not love. MY MOTHER IS GOING TO BOSTON. FOR TWO WEEKS. She called me this morning, all hopeful and excited, and told me that she had this opportunity and, since Dad was okay with it, she just needed my promise that I could take care of the guys for another two weeks. She was just so eager, I couldn't say no. I mean, tomorrow's my last day of work, it's not like I have any extended plans beyond that, although I am stopping by Express Personnel tomorrow before my shift to see if they can find me something for the summer.
Top Chef Finale - I was terrified for a few minutes there, but it all turned out okay. I don't even mind that the end result was something they'd been setting up the entire season. Good job, kids.
Man, I am STARVING. When did that happen? Must foodinate.
