Apparently, dark brown hair is the win for me.  I don't know why I try to be anything but a brunette - I've learned this before, it's not new to me, but I still attempt things like blond and red, knowing full well that they won't look great.  Well, red doesn't look terrible, but it doesn't stay for more than two or three washes, so it's a bit pointless.

I should be happy that I can have dark hair, really.  Not so many women can, particularly ones as pale as I am.  I think this is a case where being Iranian works in my favor, since even though I'm pale with light eyebrows and light eyes, my skin tone complements darker shades.

I sent a plea to Planned Parenthood through the online appointment thing to see if I can get in before my appointment in October just to get two months worth of BC.  I figured it was worth a try.  I really, REALLY hope they don't ask for a birth certificate, though, or I'm going to have to rush up to Tacoma to get one before the appointment.  My mom said she'd take me, but it's still annoying.

My knee was stabbing me with pain all day yesterday.  I hope that doesn't mean it's going to rain.  Actually, what it probably means is that I'm too damn fat and my knee is sick of hefting me around all over the place, but it sounds nicer to say that it's just rain.  :)

Balls, Shen, I just realized that the installation CD for your tablet is still in my laptop.  Sorry!  I'll put it in a case for you and give it to you next time I see you.

AAAAUGH.  I just checked my e-mail, logged into the Planned Parenthood thing, and saw that they did give me an appointment for October 2nd.  Less than three weeks away, so that's fine.  However - it says it's for 12:15 AM.

And that's not the best part!  I called the 800 number for Olympia to talk to someone about it and make sure that it was for PM and not AM, and the girl I asked sat in silence for OVER A MINUTE thinking about it before she replied, "It's probably for AM.  I mean... PM."  Then more silence.  I wanted her to check it, not because I think that it's actually a midnight appointment, but because it might have messed up the date they put down, but I couldn't bear sitting on the line with her anymore, and I gave up.

Having worked for Verizon for so long, I have a low tolerance for phone customer service stupidity.  I think I'm just going to have to go in.  Plus, I noticed in the automated e-mail I was sent something different from what I was told on the phone by the previous chick - this says that I only need to bring a copy of my birth certificate if I wasn't born in Washington state, which, y'know, I was.  Which makes far more sense.

If that turns out to be the truth, then that makes the phone girl that much stupider.  Because I know she didn't mention that.  But I can't bear to call back to find out if that is the case!  I'll just stop into the offices next time I'm downtown.
