48 Hour Book Challenge - Book List
Jun. 4th, 2009 11:38 pmI'm getting myself all psyched up for the 48 Hour Book Challenge - are you? I hope so!
We're having a party on Saturday, and I'm picking my mom up from the airport tomorrow, so I'm not really going to go for broke this year, but I do plan on at least finishing all the books in my queue. I'm not supposed to start until 7:00am Friday at least, but I might cheat a bit and finish up my Trudi Canavan book. It's not on my reading list, but I'm halfway through it and really enjoying it, so I figure it'll be a good warmup. :)
I'm also going to read for a bit longer than the challenge states, mainly because, again, the entirety of tomorrow and most of Saturday is going to be all spent up with airport and party and things. I'm not trying to win the challenge this year (most time read, most books read, etc), just read as much as I can this weekend, so I don't feel so guilty.
I apologize in advance - there will be some Twittering.
I'm going to have to read most of my books digitally, seeing as how I just didn't have the time or money to get all that I wanted for real, but I don't mind. That's why I have the laptop and the iPod, after all - in fact, reading ebooks was the main reason I got the iPod.
So, as for the book list - I'm going to add everything to my Goodreads page, and link to it when I'm ready to go. I'll rate them as I finish them.
And never fear - I went to Costco today, and I have an entire case of Diet Pepsi by my side, ready to assist me in my insanity. Bwahaha.
