I'm still planning on fixing my laptop, but Meridan and I have officially decided that it's okay to use our tax return for toys. Originally, it was going to be some kind of gaming system, a PS3 or something, but I suggested getting myself a netbook and handing over the laptop to Meridan. He agreed, and so I'm getting a netbook! Yay!
The new Asus Eee PCs are coming out in a week or so, and I've already picked the model that I want. It'll be perfect for doing my online classes and word processing, that whole thing.
My homework kinda snuck up on me, and now I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. It's not the amount of work, but the kajillion different due dates that I have for all 3 classes. It's crazy.
I'm trying to set up a system for myself where I work on certain assignments in certain weeks, but I have to get ahead enough to do that. I'm pretty far in my math class, but I haven't started on any of the psych stuff yet and the assignments for English are just now getting posted.
Speaking of English homework, I just started reading Angels in America, and it's really beautiful so far. Depressing as all hell, but beautiful. I'm going to watch the miniseries this week after I finish the play.
I have a bunch of stuff due Monday, and I can't decide whether to work on it today or tomorrow. Meridan has today off - a rare treat - so I may wait until tomorrow, but he also might appreciate a day of laziness and video games, so I could get a few things done. We'll see.
Off to try and make sense of my due dates.
