I know I sound like a broken record, but I'm so sleepy. SLEEPY damnit.
I went to bed so early last night, too. But I just couldn't sleep well - noises and things kept waking me up, and miss Finn wanted to go in and out of the bedroom like a million times, and so it wasn't the best sleep I've had. Maybe tonight.
The college library where I work has an electronic bulletin board right outside the bathrooms with campus news flashing on it. As I went to pee today, I just happened to notice that there were going to be H1N1 flu shots available during my shift. I told my boss, ran over there and within 10 minutes I was sore and on my way. I'd been debating about getting the shot, especially since things have seemed to die down, but I know that epidemics like that usually resurface at least once when people let their guard down. And, working at a college with the public, I'm at relatively high risk.
They had the regular flu shot available as well, but I skipped that. The normal flu isn't going to hurt me any, I don't have any health problems.
So far, my arm isn't even slightly red where I got the shot. It's a tiny bit sore, but only if I press on it. So it seems fine.
Anyways. I'm at the house today, not the apartment, and I have a paper to write which I'm putting off. I'm a lazy bum. I think I'll go for a nap now, and later on I'll write my very depressing paper about Angels in America where everyone is gay and dying of AIDS but no one is happy like in RENT. Plus, there's no singing. Boo-urns.
