Feb. 20th, 2010 03:34 pmI had this whole rant going about Ravelry and yarn snobs and liking my cheap acrylic yarn, goddamnit, and fuck them for judging me, but I got tired of it halfway through. Forget it.
The point was, I'm feeling the itch, and I want to start a new blanket soon. I also need to weave in the last couple of ends on the last blanket so I can wash it when I move next week and decide whether it's going on the bed or the couch.
Research paper or packing? I can't decide what to do. Oh, and I have math to finish. Hmph. Meridan and I already decided that tomorrow is going to be ultimate packing day, since we're both home, but I could definitely get a few things done now.
I've decided to try to use as many bags as I can instead of only boxes, since we're just carrying things over to the new place and I don't want to have a kabillion boxes at the end to deal with.
Meridan and I discovered last night that the reason our upstairs neighbors have been so noisy is because the two apartments made a pact to be as noisy as possible when our next door neighbors are playing their music too loud. This enrages me to no end. Talk about fucking passive aggressive garbage. And you know the only people suffering through all of this? MY APARTMENT. The one not involved at all in their little feud.
Fucking college kids. I will not miss you bastards, oh no.
After the moving weekend, Meridan and I are going to have matching days off! I'm really happy - we haven't had weekends off together, well, ever! And, because I work 5 hour days instead of 4 hour, I also get Fridays off. Yay! I get one day alone to putter around the apartment and get homework done... maybe.
I have to get new tags for the cats - musn't forget. I think I'll get neat ones from Etsy. We do have our new phone number, but it's not 100% for sure, so I'll wait on that.
Anyways. The day is too nice to pass up, so my mom and Ari are coming shortly to pick me up for a walk downtown with the dogs. Which means I should probably brush my rat's nest of hair and find some socks.
