things and stuff
Mar. 1st, 2010 11:48 amWell, I managed to not finish my rough draft OR my peer evaluations for paper #3 in my English class. The first part of my week was just consumed with that psych research paper, and I was having so much trouble with my research for that third paper that by the time I had figured it out, it was time to move and I had no mental capacity left to work on a paper.
So, I have to start from scratch to get this thing done by Wednesday. Dandy.
I got a 98 on my psychology paper, though, so I don't regret focusing on it. And, I got a 190/200 on my last English paper, so clearly my professor is thinking I'm doing pretty well. That's always nice to see.
This has been a hideously hectic quarter, but I will get through it. I have three weeks left.
Man, I'm tired. I'm also tired of this headache. Bah.
I don't need to stay after work anymore to do homework - my new apartment is gloriously quiet. The little girls upstairs run around once in a while, but I couldn't care less about kid noises. It's the adults that should know better.
I bought our tickets for Emerald City Comic Con! We're only going Saturday to save on money and gas, even though Wil Wheaton is doing a Rock Band open event on Sunday that Meridan would piss himself over if he knew about it. But we do get to go see Wheaton's panel on Saturday (titled Wil Wheaton Awesome Hour), and the panel from The Guild which I'm hoping has a trailer for Season 4.
The librarians love me because they can give me jobs that involve more brain power than just folding handouts in half. This, however, results in my being given crazy complicated tasks. I don't mind, but sometimes I'd rather just fold paper.
Tonight, psychology homework, and lots of it. We'll see how much unpacking I get done as a result of my inevitable procrastination.
