I'm not starting a new book until tomorrow, though, because this is one of those rare days where I actually have homework. I have a math assignment due tonight, and I have to finish my notes for my sociology seminar tomorrow.
No choir today, so I don't have to walk from the music building to the natural sciences building. Yay for laziness! Plus, I get a proper lunch hour. It's a good day to have homework to work on, because I also get off from work an hour early.
I forgot about several credit card bills in March. As a result, my paycheck next week is going entirely to paying late fees and shit. Luckily, I'm getting about $250, so it should cover it. Of course, Meridan's check is going to pay the rest of the fucking payday loan we had to get from the bank to cover my tuition before my financial aid went through, and after we pay the electric bill and the Comcast bill... I think we're left with about $5. Sweet.
At least since we have Mom's car we don't have to worry about our past due registration for our own car at the moment. Or the fact that we need new tires. But things are definitely tight around here, and it's mostly because of all the money we had to spend when Mom was in the hospital.
The worst part is, I need to be saving for the New York trip. Meridan's parents are paying for our airfare and lodgings, but I still have to buy a dress and shoes, and we need cab and spending money. We both get paid right before we leave, so as long as I have all the bills caught up by then, we'll have extra, but I don't know how caught up we'll be.
Our poor credit. Sigh. Oh, well, it was crap to begin with.
Enough lamenting about money. It is what it is. I don't know if we'll get to the Kumoricon meeting on Saturday, since that's a lot of gas money, but we aren't starving, so I'm not going to dwell too much.
