So, remember that job that Meridan interviewed for a couple weeks ago with Verizon? There were a bunch of delays in notifying him, he made a lot of phone calls, the HR woman was on vacation, etc. - as a result, we still didn't know whether he had the job or not. We assumed no, because training for the job was supposed to start this past Monday.

He finally got ahold of the HR person yesterday, and she said she'd been meaning to call him, because she wanted to schedule another interview.

After assuming all was lost, this is super news! But we think we know why this happened. Meridan was applying for a job at a Verizon store in Lakewood, which is about a 30 minute drive away from us. However, a position just opened up at a Lacey store, which is a 10 minute drive. He submitted his application for the new store, and we're thinking that they decided to consider him for the closer position.

He has a phone interview during his lunch break today. I'm so excited!

Anyways. I don't have work today, only classes, and I'm considering ditching math class to go home early, but I haven't decided. I just finished my sociology seminar notes, so I'm going to go to that class, and I definitely can't miss choir because my director is a demon woman who doesn't like absences, but math - not sure. I could use the practice, I suppose. At least we're done dividing complex polynomials now. Man, that sucked.

I guess I should go print my seminar notes. And pee. Important things.
