kungfufightingHAH. I bought yarn and panties today, and I am in a better mood.
I picked up this soy wool yarn that I can't stop snuggling. It's the softest stuff EVER. I also knit one entire fingerless glove in 12 hours, and I'm unbelievably proud of myself. It's even got cables, yo. And I had to use DPNs, and you can't tell at all where the joins were, I did them so well. I'm rocking now.
The glove was actually just a test to see if I could do the cabling and the other jazz, and I had no troubles. I won't be making another one to match, mainly because I hate the bind-off and I want to do it completely differently. Also, I want to use my pretty pretty soy yarn.

I have two full days of babysitting ahead of me. I'm not really looking forward to them. However, I did find out that I'm probably going to be done with the babysitting when the local school year starts, which is the first week of September. Rock.
Jesus, I have to design a flyer for the ChibiChibi table at Kumoricon. Fuck me. I forgot.
