goodbye, norma jean
Jun. 12th, 2004 05:08 pmNice, lazy day today. No need for a bra or makeup, just an old sweatshirt and bare feet and a good library book. As I get older (shut up, I'm ancient), I appreciate staying in more. I couldn't do it every day, but on the weekends, it's nice. Once in a while, you know.
This coming week is my last week of unemployment. Last week of school for Ari as well. The week after that, he'll be home and I'll be working. Funny thought. I'm going to make myself get up at 9:00 every morning next week, just to condition myself. Get back into the groove.
I got a pretty blue fabric for my curtains yesterday, and I'm going to make those next week while I still have the time. I should also finish up the couple bags I have going so that I can send them off. Have to pay for the Mononoke Hime poster I won on Ebay too.
Things aren't perfect. But I feel like I can relax now. That's good.
