Jul. 6th, 2007 11:23 pmI have gotten two inches of my Gryffindor scarf done, and I'm sick to death of it already. Boooring. But there are 5 feet and ten inches to go. Blast.
All I need is a white button-down shirt and a tie and I'm Hermione-tastic. Well, there's still a robe to make, but that will be attended to this weekend. Also, S.P.E.W. badges and a collection tin need to be made.
4th of July was quite fun. I got far too tipsy and started shouting about how I think mathematicians and scientists are hot, and I think that amused Shen's relatives. Sigh. But it was a pleasant evening overall.
Spent yesterday helping Shen clean her lovely little apartment, since we will soon be visited by a very tall Swedish woman. We are all very excited and nervous about this. But now her living room and kitchen look bloody fantastic, and I'm sure after the gassing we did to the fleas today, the apartment is flea-free as well. Then, this morning, Aleph was taken to the airport. We will miss him, but he will return on Tuesday with said Swede, and we will all be cheering with yay.
