mama will fix it
Sep. 7th, 2007 11:47 pm Urm. Man, it's been a while.
Kumoricon = good times. Not as fun as it's been in previous years, owing to it getting a little too big for its britches, but nonetheless fun. And hey, I can't bitch about a free convention.
Sakuracon is now also going to be free for me, thanks to some networking. Yay! I like working at conventions. I wish I'd been more prepared for this one, but not being able to use the budget yet made it a bit hard.
Had to take my left earring out, though... I gave up on it. I might have been able to save the piercing if I'd stuck with it a bit longer, but I decided that it was driving me just too crazy having my whole ear bandaged up, so I gave up. I took it out on the way home from Vancouver, and it was completely closed up in back by the time I got home. >_< I can get it re-done, no big deal.
I'm in the middle of a kabillion knitting projects, and I can't seem to finish a single one. I did get a lot of work done on something I'm making for Meridan while I was at the convention, but seeing as how I was working to the sounds of bad Digimon fanfiction being read aloud, I may have knitted a bit too much, um, seething hatred into my work. Sorry if your gift makes you uncontrollably violent when you wear it, dear.
I also now have a box full of lovely new yarn from the aforementioned boyfriend, which means more projects to start. I'm in heaven. ^_^
But knitting will have to wait, because after watching someone playing it on the Wii at the convention, I was seized with a burning desire to own Cooking Mama for the DS. Today, my dreams came true.
COOKING MAMA. BEST. GAME. EVER.
Now, I go play.
