Nov. 6th, 2007 11:32 amOmigod, Phantom Hourglass is so fun. It's also crazy hard already, at least for me. I'm just up to the point where I board the Ghost Ship (GHOST SHIP. SRSLY. SO COOL.) It makes me realize how much fucking fun Wind Waker was.
I have major respect for the people working on the whole Zelda oeuvre. It's stunning how each game is like a completely separate piece of the whole genre, but always connected. And always looking so different! After Twilight Princess, I really didn't think Nintendo would go back to the GameCube Wind Waker style Zelda games - but lo and behold, Phantom Hourglass. Good fucking times.
I'm updating from a library laptop today, and I don't really know why. I have a rare hour between my classes that I don't have to work frantically during, and I'm not really feeling like going anywhere else to hang out. The food in the Greenery looks disgusting (who's surprised?), and I'm hiding from the Computer Center since I called in yesterday and couldn't find anyone to cover my shift. Plus, I wanted a comfy chair. So, library.
I was all paranoid last night because I missed both of my Japanese classes last week and I was sure that I was so far behind that I would never catch up. I studied frantically for a while, then went to bed and couldn't sleep for all the worrying. I hate that. So, I made it to class today on about 4 hours of sleep. Luckily, I aced my verb quiz, and I did okay on my other stuff. Once I do some missing work, I should be fine. I'm fucking lucky that Tomoko is so chill about these things. She just reminded me that I've missed 4 classes so far (eeeesh) and that I should go to extra tutoring sessions to help me catch up.
God, none of you care about this shit. But I don't know, maybe it's because of NaBlo-whatever-Mo, I'm feeling like I should update every day for the rest of November, just for shits and giggles. I really wish I could do NaNoWriMo this year, but there's just NOOOO TIME - hence, the blogging thing.
Damnit, now I'm actually hungry. I don't know what to eat, either. Looks like vending machine lunch for me. Ew.
