Started my first project on size 2 needles a couple of days ago. It's turning out very cute, but damn, these are some tiny stitches. I'm a little frightened to think of what it must be like knitting on size 0s, or even smaller. Eeek.
I was in Joann's yesterday, facing the acres of yarn, and my brain kept telling me to buy a skein of DK weight wool even though I couldn't remember why. I listened to my brain, luckily, because after swatching like ten million different projects here at work this evening, I remembered what I had been wanting the yarn for. I had also been clever enough to bring my bamboo circs to work, and so now I'm plugging along through a very, very cute little scarf-type thingy.
Finished all of the first season of Saiunkoku Monogatari last night - well, first two seasons, really, since there were 39 episodes with a break somewhere after episode 24, I think. But there's an actual Season 2, or part 2, or whatever, starting again with episode 1, so I've been downloading that this evening.
This is the first series in a while where I honestly have not been able to decide who I want the main heroine to end up with. It's fucking killing me. I was so sure that I loved Ryuuki with the love that would never die, but then Seiran started actually, like, expressing an emotion more than once every ten episodes, and now I'm afraid I might change my mind.
High class problems, eh?
