Had a little freakout earlier today about Christmas and being out of money and realizing that my teeny tiny paycheck on the 15th has to cover everything I don't already have. I've calmed down a bit since, but this is definitely not going to be a very successful holiday season for me. I'm not going to be able to do what I wanted to do for several people, which sucks ass, since I had such excellent ideas. Guess I'll have to suspend some of it until later or something.

Handmade gifts yet again this year. I love making presents, but I just never know if they're really that appreciated or not. Also, what I think is cool, lots of people probably think is tacky or gross.

Blaaaah. Christmas.

I joined a gym on Sunday. I'm pretty sure that means that I can now eat my way through the kitchen. Right? Right.

Seriously, though, I'm so looking forward to exercise bike time. I love biking, and I used to be able to do it for really long periods, but my bike is all kinds of broken thanks to Ari and it's cold out and I'd much rather do it at the nice warm gym in front of a TV. I know that's a bit pathetic, but hey, it's December.

Time to raid the fridge, cause my tooth has calmed down a little today, and I plan on taking advantage of it.

My mom asked me last night which of the traditional Christmas movies was my favorite, and I had an answer immediately - Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer, hands down. I mean, Yukon Cornelius, people. And that Abominable Snowman scared the ever-living crap out of me when I was little, but I love the Bumble now. And elf dentists. And toys that are sad. Ohhh, I love that movie.

This year, I stuck a tape in the VCR at the first sign of a Christmas movie, since who knows when we'll have it hooked up again in December? I caught Santa Claus Is Coming To Town, which I also love, but tomorrow night is Rudolph, which means I know where I'll be at 8pm!

Listen, it's either enjoy the little things about the season, or fall into a near bottomless depression that'll take me until April to crawl out of. The latter is kinda inevitable, but I'd like to postpone it as long as possible.

Anyone else like Rudolph best? Ari's favorite is the Grinch, and my mom falls into a trance every time It's A Wonderful Life comes on the TV.

Ooop, battery almost dead. I best pry myself away from the laptop and find something to do.
