This month has been relatively tight money-wise, but I'm really proud of what Meridan and I have managed to do. It was one of those things where we knew we were super low on money, but only temporarily, and we were only broke because we were spending money on things like paying off debts and settling crap that needed to be settled.
Now, all is peachy keen again. My tax return came in (yay for old and poor!) with enough money to take care of March's rent and some credit card debt, and I received a fantastic letter in the mail today confirming my freedom from debt with the government. HUZZAH! In celebration, I think I'll rack up some more school loan debt. :)
My dad has urged me to apply to some different schools and consider transferring in the fall, and I think I'm going to take his advice, just to see. Evergreen's in terrible trouble right now, and the classes are already suffering. It really sucks.
I think my father is pretty happy with my current situation - he seems glad that Meridan is a helpful partner to me and that I'm staying out of trouble money-wise. He gave me some money when I went home last Thursday that I didn't even really ask for - I had told my mom about how tight things were and she in turn told Dad, even though I didn't ask her to, which was nice. He keeps saying he can continue to help me, but damnit, I'm just so happy right now with being debt-free that it's hard to ask for money. :)
Um, what else? I've been sick for fucking EVER, it seems - just like always. Winter is awesome. The entire apartment was laid out at some point last week. It was damn crazy. I'm still coughing up nasty crap.
My birth control switch seems to have been a good one - I've been crampy for a couple days recently, but that's just because I'm at the end of my packet. I'm not too concerned about it.
Shen has Harvest Moon for the Wii, and I wants to play it. Mebbe tomorrow. Muahaha.
