driving the car
May. 8th, 2010 11:24 amNose feels better this morning - it's still scraped up a little and bruised, but the swelling is nearly gone. If it was broken at all, it was just cracked a little. And honestly, my nose was already big to begin with. :P I'm so fucking stiff and sore, though. Having no passenger side airbag sucked.
Meridan and I talked more last night, and we've decided that our finances are decent enough that we can afford a small car loan, so rather than try and find another $500 clunker, we're going to talk to his dad about cosigning on a car loan with us. His dad has offered before, so I think he won't mind - he's out of the country right now, but he comes back tomorrow, so we'll take it up with him then.
We figure we can afford a monthly payment of about $100, so depending on the length of the loan, we could probably easily get a car worth about $3000-5000. We'd still be in the used car range, but it would be a really nice, dealer certified car. Sounds nice to me.
Anyways, we'll see. I'm worrying at the moment about my math test on Monday more than the car. :P
