Dec. 15th, 2010 08:01 pmY'know that scary demon math class?
The one that I was hoping I would manage a C in, because if I ended up with a C- or lower, I wouldn't be able to take the second part next quarter?
Yeah, I totally got a B.
!!!
And, with an A- in my Japanese class, that gave me a 3.33 for the quarter. YAYAYAYAY. That gets me to a 3.0 overall at SPSCC. That means that as long I can keep a 3.0, that's what I'll end up with. Or, if I manage to pull a 4.0 for the next 2 quarters (hah, yeeaah), I could end with a 3.3. I think that'll get UW to take me back without much fuss.
The thing is, I could be a 4.0 student. It's not like school is fucking hard or anything. But drunk Mommy kinda makes it hard to have perfect attendance or always get my homework done. Not an excuse, it's a fact. And it sucks, but it is what it is.
My textbooks are going to cost me $200 fucking dollars next quarter. And that's the cheap, online prices. Ballsacks.
My apartment is a filthy fucking mess. Someone come and clean it.
My baby brother turned 16 on Monday. I can't believe it. He only has 2 years left of high school, and my goal at the moment is to get him into UW in the 2013-14 school year. I'll have graduated by then, but it's likely that Meridan will be in grad school still at that point, and I'll be working on my Masters, so we'll still be in Seattle. I'm thinking he can live in the dorms, but come to our place on weekends and such. That'll give him the independence, but still let me keep an eye on him.
Good times.
