After a day of fighting with the digital downloader thingy, I finally have Windows 7 completely installed. The install itself went fine, although at first it didn't want to take my install key. After it was all installed and logged in, I tried again to activate it and it worked. Dunno why, maybe it was picky about my key cause it was through a student deal. Anyways.
I admit, I'm liking it so far. It does seem to run a bit smoother - my files don't copy any faster, but within SECONDS of plugging in my external hard drives, the drivers were installed. That was sweet.
Time will tell about any other issues, of course.
In other news, I'm all registered for next quarter's classes. And I feel utterly pathetic about them, cause they're all piss-ass basic requirements that I shouldn't have to take at ALL, but I've decided to concentrate on the idea of getting a 4.0 for the quarter to console myself. Yes.
They're all online, at any rate, so I don't have to leave the house for anything but work. That'll be nice. :)
