Yes. Yes, it was a crazy day.
Now, for me to call a day in Seattle crazy, it takes quite a bit. I mean, I lived in the city for over a year, and I met dozens of freaky-ass people and got inadvertently involved in dozens of surreal situations.
But all in one day? I'd have to call this a first. Part One of the tale was already covered by Benjamin... enjoy Part Two.
( so you like the freaky ones? )And now you see why it was a crazy day. Take Ben's description of the first half of our trip, my spastic description of the second half, and you have complete crazy. There were many neat things that came out, including anything and everything purchased at Uwajimaya and a pretty cool idea for a story involving the northernmost city in Alaska, 12 people, and the end of the world. But there was a point where we were unsure whether we would make it home to Olympia, and, if we were to make it home, whether it wouldn't be a thousand years in the future.
I think we're okay now. I think.
We're going to try again next weekend. We plan on stocking up on Happy Summer Juice for the coming apocalypse. Oh, and BlackBlack.
