Yes.  Yes, it was a crazy day.

Now, for me to call a day in Seattle crazy, it takes quite a bit.  I mean, I lived in the city for over a year, and I met dozens of freaky-ass people and got inadvertently involved in dozens of surreal situations.

But all in one day?  I'd have to call this a first.  Part One of the tale was already covered by Benjamin... enjoy Part Two.

so you like the freaky ones? )

And now you see why it was a crazy day.  Take Ben's description of the first half of our trip, my spastic description of the second half, and you have complete crazy.  There were many neat things that came out, including anything and everything purchased at Uwajimaya and a pretty cool idea for a story involving the northernmost city in Alaska, 12 people, and the end of the world.  But there was a point where we were unsure whether we would make it home to Olympia, and, if we were to make it home, whether it wouldn't be a thousand years in the future.

I think we're okay now.  I think.

We're going to try again next weekend.  We plan on stocking up on Happy Summer Juice for the coming apocalypse.  Oh, and BlackBlack.

Oookay.  Winter quarter.

I've got linguistics class on Tuesdays, choir on Thursdays, and photography class on Saturdays.  Anime club meetings are on Wednesdays, and my office hours are on Monday and Wednesday afternoons.  And, of course, work Monday through Friday.  On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, I have to be on campus by 10:00am, and I can't leave until after 9:00pm.  Fridays are the only days that I can leave by 1:00pm, and as it gets closer to the convention, it's doubtful that that will last long.

Technically, I'm waitlisted for the Homo Loquens class, so there is a chance I won't be able to get in.  I really, really do want to take it, but I won't be too upset if it doesn't work out, seeing as how I'll be crazy busy even without it.  I need to go get batteries for my mom's Nikon before Saturday, too.  It's an ass-tastic camera, but I used to use it quite a bit, so I think it'll serve it's purpose.

I am so in my element.  Workworkworkcrazywork until I drop.  This is awesome.  I do a dance now.  *dance*

Ari has a Zune now.  This summarizes my feelings on the subject.  Knock-off iPods are dumb.
