Note to Guy in the Corner: When you come up to me and utter the sentence, "So, how does this printing thing work?", it's important to know that in no way does that communicate the fact that you are trying to print from a laptop. You were not carrying your laptop, I saw no sign of a laptop. I cannot be blamed for answering that question in a way that ended up being horribly confusing to you.
Oh, kids today.
The mall has brought back their board game kiosk for the holidays, and guess what I spotted there the other day - a mahjong set! Yay! It's a pretty good one that comes in a tin, and it's cheaper than the one I was considering from Amazon.com, so rock on. It shall be purchased either next week or at the end of the month, and there will be mahjong-ing. Oh my, yes.
Why do I insist on not doing my homework when I should be? Oh, right... I'm lazy. Also, it's frustrating. I'm starting to remember why I sucked so hard at Japanese the first time around - the writing part. My Japanese handwriting is atrocious.
Even though good parts of them read like bad fanfiction, I harbor a secret love of the Sookie Stackhouse novels (the ones that the new HBO series True Blood is based off of). Entirely too many paragraphs describing Sookie's clothing and makeup status, but past all that, they're ridiculous, vampire-filled fun, and I am not too proud to admit that I tore through the first book in one night. Sometimes, I can be such a girl. But damn, these books are dirty. It's good times.
