Hm. Meridan popped my space bar back onto my laptop after I broke it, but it still seems weird. It's so sticky.

Anyways. He and I had a wonderful day yesterday before he had to go to work. We got to do all our shopping, he managed to find a birthday gift for his father and I bought part of Ari's birthday present as well. And I have so much nice food in the house!

It's so funny - since I started shopping differently this week and finding neat recipes, I've been learning things about Meridan that I probably should have known all along. I had no idea how much he loved avocados, for instance. We even had a discussion about cauliflower, in which I agreed to try cooking and eating it again. I haven't had any since I was a kid, but I've never been a fan. Still, this isn't about likes and dislikes. It's about what's good for us.

That doesn't mean food has to taste nasty. It just means exploring new things and adding flavors together to make tastiness.

We splurged today a bit - naughty us. The flannel winter-themed sheets were only $15 at Target, and we had a set back when we had the twin bed, which we loved. So now I get to sleep on snowflakes. I AM FIVE YEARS OLD.

I think I'm going to steal some glucosamine tablets from my parents today. My knees are not happy in this weather.

I am so lucky to have a produce stand/market thing near my apartment. I went the other day and filled a massive sack with fruits and veggies, and only spent $13.
