oh, pants.

The bangs are no longer the most exciting part of my day, seeing as how my wallet is gone.

I last remember leaving it in a cart at Safeway. We went back there, and the cart was in about the same place, but the wallet was gone. Checked with the store, not turned in.

I've accepted that it's all kinds of gone, and I'm okay with it. We cancelled all the cards and ordered replacements (it took Meridan an hour of screaming on the phone, but it's done), and hey, I'm going to a convention in a few days, so I have the perfect excuse to buy a new wallet! :)

I also had an expired license, so I already had to replace that, and I hadn't yet gotten my SPSCC ID card, so no loss there either.

I will miss the letter that I had in there - it was a goofy mushy love letter that Meridan sent me from Ecuador. Sigh. He promised to write a new one, though.

And so it goes.

The medium level of annoyance I was experiencing last night due to the loss of my wallet has increased tenfold this morning. All I can say is... fuck.

I have no identifying documents. None. My birth certificate has been lost for years, I have no passport, and everything else WAS IN MY WALLET.

My mother and I went to the DMV, assuming that it would be a horrible struggle to get me a new license. I ended up not having to show a damn thing - just rattled off some answers and got my picture taken.

I really need to get a new birth certificate, though.

Anyways. Tired and grumpy now. Considering going back to bed.
